    1862 T-49 0 The Confederate States of America Note.
    The T-49 notes were the first 0 denomination printed with a reverse design. It was also printed on watermarked paper. The center features a large Vignette of Lucy Pickens, the wife of the Governor of South Carolina. At the lower left are figures representing the army and artillery branches of the military. George Wythe Randolph, the Secretary of War, is shown at the lower right. The reverse is printed with a decorative denomination design in green with terms at the center.
    This Civil War era note grades Very Fine with small repairs.
