1897 Vanderman manufacturing company railroad strong box that has been passed down through the years. I've seen a few of these listed as hauling gold bullion, but don't know for sure.
Patented in late 1800s Rare Strong Box that was used to haul Gold Bullion for the Railroads. It was made by the Vanderman Mfg Co.
Missing two lower screw bolts on pad lock anchor as seen in photos.
