Blenko Air Twist Paperweight Clear Art Glass

Up for auction a Blenko clear air twist paperweight.  Research indicates this style was initially introduced in 1968 and designed by Joel Myers.
Exquisite color, skilled craftsmanship, and creative designs have made Blenko famous in the ancient craft of hand blown glass. Because Blenko glass is made in small batches and their processes are performed by hand, it is common to observe small air bubbles, lines or individual marks left by the craftsmen. These are not flaws, but the nature of hand blown glass.
The paperweight is 2 5/8" high, 2 7/8" in diameter and weighs 1.1 pounds prior to packing for shipping.  Will ship in a 6x6x4 box.
This piece is in good pre owned condition without cracks, chips, flakes or repairs.  There are a couple of faint scratches on the surface, under magnification and light.  The bottom has scratches and rubs consistent with age and use.
