    HI-FLIER PAPER BOX KITE
    Vintage original paper box kite made by the Hi-Flier Manufacturing Co., Decatur, Ill., Printed & Made in U.S.A. Wonderful space graphics and colors - planets and space capsule - varied shades of blue, green, white and yellow. Fully assembled. 49 cents plus tax printed on the kite. I am no expert on kites but based on my research appears to be from the 50's - 60's time period.  Frame appears to be in good shape with no cracks or defects other than age. The paper has some soiling but colors are still very good. Remnants of original string hanging from one side. One small diamond shaped puncture but the paper is still attached. One tiny spot where the paper peeled a little but the paper is there.
