    Description

    Antique Japanese military sake cup from WWII. The cup is decorated with a Japanese flag and a Manchurian Puppet State flag, military star and gold kanji. The kanji above the flags reads " Manshu Shusei " ( Manchuria Dispatch ) with the top row of kanji below the flags reads " Ho Yonju Hichi " ( 47th Infantry ) with the row beneath this reads " Gaisen Kinen " ( Triumphal return commemorative ). The cup measures 2 1/2" at its widest and is 1 1/8" inches tall. The 47th Regiment took part in the 2nd Shanghai Incident and the Rape of Nanking in 1937.  Will be well packed and shipped first class mail.
